Abstract

Two peptides have been isolated from 28.5 kg of bovine brains using a combination of ion-exchange chromatographic separations. They were identified as γ-l-glutamyl-l-glutamic acid and γ-l-glutamyl-l-glutamine. The synthesis of these peptides has been described.
