Abstract
This special issue is devoted to the subject of management accounting change. It comprises five studies that address various dimensions of this important research area, each study adopting different perspectives and different research methodologies. This foreword seeks to establish why the research area is of importance, highlights potential channels for future investigation, and assesses the contribution of the studies in this issue.
