Abstract
Abstract Tourism, an important segment of Michigan's economy, must be effectively marketed to provide for continued economic growth. In this study, tourist attracting attributes were used to develop four tourist segments. Promotional strategies were developed to demonstrate how advertising dollars could be allocated to maximize positive impacts to the economic base.
