Imagine for a few minutes that you stand on one of our very high Swiss mountains — the Säntis, for example, very close to St Gallen, and where some of you may go this afternoon. You stand on the summit on a beautiful sunny day and, slowly, you turn in a full circle, 360°: everywhere are mountains. You can see far away to Italy, France, Germany, Austria, the air is so clear, you can only hear silence; some black birds are in majestic flight, and you continue to turn, astonished by the beauty of that wonderful landscape.
