TL;DR

Incubation of tritiated progesterone with rat or rabbit uterine cytosols resulted in the formation of macromolecular complexes having sedimentation coefficients between 6 and 8 S.

Abstract

Abstract Incubation of tritiated progesterone with rat or rabbit uterine cytosols resulted in the formation of macromolecular complexes having sedimentation coefficients between 6 and 8 S. The occurrence of this binding molecule, which appears to be a protein, was dependent upon the presence of in vivo estrogen.
