Abstract

The paper focuses on the Business Intelligence systems. At the beginning, knowledge as an important and strategic asset that determines a success of an enterprise is presented. Next, some characteristics of the Business Intelligence systems are discussed and their architecture is described. Purposefulness of applying such solutions in an enterprise is highlighted.
