Abstract
Summary The fitting of missing plot values is considered for the general case of block designs. A method is given for their direct calculation using the design matrices. An iterative method is recommended and is compared with others already in use. Two expressions are given for the covariance matrix of adjusted treatment means when data are incomplete.
