Abstract

In this study, the link between the perceived appropriateness of a channel manager's communication to distributors and the resultant trust perceptions developed by the distributors is analyzed. Evidence is provided which demonstrates that the degree of trust perceived in a relationship may be contingent upon the perceived adequacy of related communication.
