Abstract
Abstract This study was designed to begin to understand how Norway is positioned as a tourism destination by college students. The article reports findings from three groups of students in Australia, Canada, and the United States. Results indicate that Norway is positioned as a mountainous, snowy country with great winter recreational opportunities and friendly people. Beyond that, Norway's image is blurry. Implications for marketing strategies are included.
