Abstract
This review of legislation and practice on access to environmental information in Europe focuses on the implementation and use in all 15 European Union member states of Directive 90/313/EEC. It also covers six countries of Eastern and Central Europe, non-EU members Norway and Switzerland, the EU institutions themselves, and the UN ECE Guidelines and draft convention in this area.
