Abstract
Three series of structurally related compounds, bicyclo [2.2.1] heptane, 1,7,7-trimethylbicyclo [2.2.1] heptane and cyclohexane derivatives along with five reference compounds were scaled in a perceived-odour space using a Euclidean representation via INDSCAL and POLYCON multidimensional scaling programs. Each of the series cluster with some secondary ordering related to the functionality of the molecules.
