Validity typologies and the logic and practice of quasi‐experimentation

Abstract

Abstract Validity typologies can enhance our understanding of quasi‐experiments, but they can also serve as blinders. We can go beyond the primary concerns of validity typologies by studying causal process and by being explicit about the reasoning that underlies our inferences.
