This article aims to apply relevant findings in Ragatz Associates' recent consumer research to the functionality of timeshare industry professionals. Included are relevant statistics regarding demographics of timeshare purchasers, how purchasers were prompted to attend a sales presentation, how many presentations they attended before purchasing, hesitations about purchasing, pricing averages, average maintenance fees, owner usage patterns, visitor party characteristics, and community benefits associated with timeshare development.
