This article presents findings based on an integrative review of the literature that spanned three topics: (a) nursing shortage, (b) foreign nurses, and (c) immigration issues relating to foreign nurses. The author offers 10 practical suggestions to clinical nursing educators facing the broad array of challenges that occur when orienting foreign nurses immigrating to the United States.
