Abstract
Cardiac rehabilitation services aim to facilitate physical, psychological, and emotional recovery in patients with heart disease (table 1) and enable them to achieve and maintain better health through exercise, education, help with psychological sequelae, or any combination of these elements.Drug treatment is an integral part of the secondary prevention and treatment of coronary heart disease; existing systematic reviews have already shown the eVectiveness of drugs such as the statins, aspirin, angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors, and blockers. [1]][3][4] This review is therefore focused specifically on rehabilitation interventions as opposed to drug treatments.
