Abstract
Some simulation aspects of the control task of the continuous cultivation of microorganisms are considered. Two different kinds of controller are applied: a classical PID controller and a fuzzy controller. The results obtained by using the fuzzy controller seem more promising than those obtained by means of the classical controller.
