Abstract

An examination of how an individual working within the field of management research can increase the relevance of their work. The author notes that many scholars who work in the fields of research and writing find themselves working within a closed loop of communication, speaking with the same researchers and reading the same academic publications. The author urges scholars to reach outside this loop and engage individuals in management to discover what type of research they would benefit from.
