Abstract
La implementación de un Sistema de Gestión de Calidad (SGC) incrementa la calidad de productos y/o servicios, añade valor a los procesos, permite la optimización de variables productivas y mejora la posición competitiva de las empresas. Sin embargo, las pymes reflejan complejidad en la implantación de este sistema y certificación bajo la norma ISO 9001:2008, con limitaciones y restricciones en la formulación de políticas y objetivos de calidad, planeación estratégica, comunicación interna y gestión de recursos.
