Abstract
Strategies: A Journal of Theory, Culture, and Politics (1988-2003) was an interdisciplinary journal that drew up upon a variety of differing perspectives within the Western Marxist tradition and the diverse theoretical positions associated with Post-Modernism and Post-Structuralism to articulate a broadly Post-Marxist perspective. Strategies originally developed out of an independent and interdisciplinary reading workshop of graduate students at the University of California, Los Angeles, but it quickly developed into one of the most cutting-edge political theory journals during its fifteen years of publication.
