Abstract
We demonstrate analytically the characteristics of optimal emission reduction policies by utilizing simple greenhouse gas emission cost reduction models for various climate damage functions. We also show how to incorporate these emission models into a decision framework to evaluate the value of information for key parameters. Comparative numerical examples are given.
