The Place of Knowledge in Social Work Activity

Abstract

This study considers whether a small sample of social workers was using theoretical knowledge as a basis for activities in practice. The findings indicate that the use of this type of knowledge was minimal. They also bring to light a number of questions related to the development of knowledge for use in social work practice.
