Abstract

In June 2000, Robbie Walters was talking to B who had visited him regularly for the last six months. She used one of her usual conversational gambits. Mr. Walters' reply summarizes what we discovered when we analyzed his speech: B: What's new? R: Not-not anything really I'm tryin'… I have some bad times and good times I think.
