Abstract

In this theory-based, empirical work meant for the academic reader, Kagono et al. present a comparative study of strategy management in the U.S. and Japan. Several perspectives on organizational change and the link between strategy and structure are evaluated, and an emerging framework for the study of organizations and markets, the evolutionary framework, is presented as a base for further research.
