Abstract
Dr. Scott is Associate Professor of Finance at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and received his PhD from the University of Florida. He is the author and coauthor of articles that have appeared in several journals, among them the Summer 1972 issue of Financial Management [7], Engineering Economist, and the Journal of Business Research. He currently serves as President of the Southern Finance Association and is an Associate Editor of Financial Management. He was previously employed as a cost analyst with the Ford Motor Company and MasseyFerguson, Ltd. Dr. Martin is Assistant Professor of Finance at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and received his DBA from Texas Tech University. He has coauthored articles in the Journal of Business, the Journal of Finance, and the Journal of Monetary Economics.
