Abstract
In spatial econometrics, various topics have their own importance: specification, estimation and testing are the main building blocks of a spatial econometric model. An economist should attach special importance to the specification stage; experience has taught that the functioning of spatial economies follows a complex pattern, and that is the pattern that should be adequately modeled.
