Abstract

This paper focuses on the parasitic nematodes infesting tobacco (Nicotiana tabacum), particularly on Meloidogyne spp., Pratylenchus spp., Globodera spp., Rotylenchulus reniformis, Ditylenchus spp. Their symptoms of damage, pathotypes, survival and spread, economic importance, and management measures (cultural, physical, chemical, biological control methods, and pest resistance) are discussed.
