Abstract

Women are accorded less recognition than men the professions and public life. Furthermore, women do not hold administrative and honorific positions the American Psychological Association in proportion to their numbers and qualifications and especially do they fail of election to top-level offices, being frequently chosen for the more laborious job of secretary.
