Emerging rehabilitation practices in the field of employer-based disability management emphasize leadership, program administration, and communications competencies that transcend traditional graduate Rehabilitation Counselor education. Using an organizational case study, this article identifies new skills required of rehabilitation professionals in a company that successfully adopted an integrated health and disability management strategy.
