Abstract
The objective of this work is to identify and analyze Spanish scientific production in the area of social work according to \nthe bibliographic databases of international reference owned by Thomson Reuters, Web of Science and Journal Citation \nReports. To do this, we will recover from the Web of Science all documents published by Spanish in international journals \nindexed in the Social Work category indexed by Journal Citation Reports in its edition of Social Sciences. On the one hand, \nwe analyze the most relevant authors and universities, and on the other hand, we analyze the content of the documents by \nmeans of the mapping science tool SciMAT, in order to identify thematic areas that have been investigated.
