This book has become well known to student, teacher and practitioner. First copyrighted in 1917, it is a standard teaching and reference book. Unlike some other reference books, it is easily read and has always been filled from one end to the other with meaty information that can be put to practical use. The new edition is completely revised and the format is changed to make it even more readable. For those who are interested in therapeutics, up-to-date and practical information abounds; for those who are interested in animal experimentation, the book is indispensable.
