Der chirale Organokatalysator Bisflavin 1 katalysiert asymmetrische Baeyer-Villiger-Reaktionen von Cyclobutanonen mit H2O2 (siehe Schema). Die entsprechenden Lactone werden mit bis zu 74 % ee erhalten.
