Abstract
Im IV. Ventrikel nahe der Apertura lateralis wurden kolbenförmige Endigungen markscheidenfreier Axone gefunden. Die Kolben enthalten eine große Zahl Mitochondrien, die durch einen zentralen prismatischen Tubulus charakterisiert sind. Das Plasmalemm der Kolben hat synapsenähnliche Kontakte mit der Ependymoberfläche.
