It was observed that, on chromatographing with water-saturated 8obutanol or phenol, urea separates well from PAS, and following mild hydrolysis of the urine with hydrochloric acid the spot corresponding to PAB also becomes stronger and brighter.

Abstract

p-AMINOBENZOIC ACID DERIVATIVES 139 us as urea (Rp, 0.25-0.31). We further observed that, on chromatographing with water-saturated 8obutanol or phenol, urea separates well from PAS.
