Abstract
This paper first reveals the fact that the different alternatives rankings may be developed as using several scales to construct judgement matrices for the same problem, then gives a simulation\|based evaluation of the scales from several aspects. Thus, a theoretical guarantee can be offered for the experts to select the scale correctly.
