Abstract
This report contains information on health status and health history in relation to the significant examination findings among children 6-11 years and youths 12-17 years in the United States, as estimated from the Health Examination Survey programs of 1963-65 and 1966-70, respectively. The Health Examination Survey, through which these data were obtained, is one of the major programs of the National Center for Health Statistics, authorized under the National Health Survey Act of 19S6 by the 84th Congress as a continuing Public Health Service activity to determine the health status of the population.
