From the Publisher: Oracle is the second largest software company in the world and ranks second to SAP in ERP vendors. Oracle has just come out with the newest release of their ERP system, version 11i, and is promoting this release heavily. It is Oracle's first full new release in over five years and it is expected to remain Oracle's platform for the next five or more years. The “i” represents Oracle's first presentation of Oracle applications in Internet form, one in which the concept of specific forms loaded as clients or as dumb terminals is replaced by a commitment to industry standard Internet form that should be accessible by anyone anywhere.
