Abstract
This article provides a perspective on the key factors that have influenced the exponential growth of online travel over the past decade. Online travel is fiercely competitive and the landscape continues to rapidly evolve across transaction processing and media. Key decision support initiatives to ensure relevancy, enhance customer loyalty and improve site profitability are also reviewed.
