Abstract

This issue’s interview on healthy work environments is with the chief nurse executives of two hospitals that have attained Magnet Nursing Services Recognition: Doreen Frusti, RN, MSN, MS, is chair of the Mayo Clinic Department of Nursing in Rochester, Minn.; and Carol Robinson, RN, CNAA, MPA, is associate director of Patient Care Services at the University of California, Davis Medical Center. These two have led their organizations in establishing professional practice environments that are known for drawing and retaining nurses locally and nationally. Joanne Disch, RN, PhD, FAAN, conducted the interview.
