Abstract
Traditionally new products are introduced to the market through the "Design-Make-Sell"-cycle, typical for manufacturing industries. Through their marketing departments manufacturers capture and aggregate customer needs to product specifications, pass the information for the designers to design the product, produce it and display it for sale. However, this long cycle is not adequate to the specific needs of the contemporary dynamic and competitive markets.
