Abstract
The CIPS project explores the extent and character of commercialisation of Australian public schooling. The study also documents the structural conditions, as well as political values, which enable this commercialisation. The project comprises a review of the literature, a survey of AEU members, a case study of data infrastructures at work in Australian education systems, and a case of study of political strategies in response to commercialisation of schooling in New York State.
