Apart from occasionally making it into mainstream journals, the North American members of this community of scholars would regard Journal of Business Venturing and Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice as primary outlets for their research as well as important reading for their professional development. Further, they are likely regulars at the Babson College/Kauffman Foundation Entrepreneurship Research Conference and/or members of the Entrepreneurship Division of the Academy of Management. In other parts of the world other journals, conferences, and associations could be added, but the North American ones would not be entirely disregarded.
