Abstract

AbstractMusic is a complete language which can communicate very powerfully with the senses and the emotions. It is widely used in television advertisements, for a variety of purposes. But its use is rarely built into creative planning in the initial stages and it is often an afterthought. Virtually no planned research has been carried out into its effective use, although research methods are known and available. Results of a low-cost pilot research study are outlined in this article.
