Abstract
This report summarizes a year of activity and the University of North Carolina Highway Safety Research Center's collaboration with other state agencies, advocacy groups, and the law enforcement community to continue efforts to reduce occupant casualties among North Carolina's infants, children, and young adults. The report is focused on three areas: (1) advisory, training and coordination activities; (2) public information and education efforts; and (3) evaluation activities. The report concludes with recommendations for continuing and expanding these efforts in the most effective and efficient manner.
