Abstract
Organising the technical program for this the second Conference on Universal Usability has been an exciting and rewarding experience. During the early stages of the review process, we were concerned that circumstances way beyond our control (war, SARS etc) were going to have a seriously deleterious effect on submissions and the conference itself. Thus it was most pleasing and reassuring when we received over sixty submissions from which we were able to select nineteen full papers, one panel and four posters.
