Abstract

It is no longer adequate to simply attract customers, they must be cultivated. This paper explores the values associated with, and the sources of, repeat patronage. An exchange theory methodology forms the basis for organizing the research data in a way that reveals how alliances with customers can be enhanced by hospitality businesses.
