TL;DR

A procedure is described to stain cells rich in actin in microfilamentous form on formalin-fixed paraffinembedded tissues: specific rabbit antibodies raised against sodium dodecyl sulfate denatured chicken gizzard actin were found to be essential for a successful staining.
