Abstract
S ummary . The limitations of children's reasoning observed by Piaget can be described by a restricted logical system, called a psycho‐logic. It is shown that psycho‐logic can be simply represented by a small set of finite Boolean algebras. These are interpreted to suggest that limitations of reasoning correspond to limitations of immediate memory or attention.
