Abstract

This study is an attempt to evaluate relative subjective responses to colors of "white" light that are produced by commonly available electric light sources in interior spaces at intermediate light levels. More specifically, the study considers the spatial acceptability of several high intensity discharge (HID) source colors when compared with the more common fluorescent colors.
