Abstract
The preceding Comment of Bouchaud and Georges [Phys. Rev. A 41, 1156 (1990)] while introducing an interesting method to treat L\'evy walks, makes implicit use of a decoupled continuous-time random-walk scheme. We discuss this quite subtle point and show that the coupled approach leads to the results previously derived by us.
