Abstract
This review is intended to update the most recent developments of asymmetric cyclopropanation in numerous reaction types, such as Simmons–Smith cyclopropanations, Michael-initiated ring-closure reactions, transition-metal-catalysed decomposition of diazoalkanes, and miscellaneous reactions, covering the literature from 2003 to 2007. This review clearly demonstrates the diversity and power of asymmetric cyclopropanation in the field of synthetic organic chemistry.
